He Fang has a Ph.D. of Education. Her research interests cover Youth Theory, Child Welfare, and Youth Policy in Western Countries. She is currently working on a National Social Science Fund project “Social aid for legal orphans”. She has published a monograph Aid for Homeless Children in the US：Experience and Implications, and has translated Theorizing Childhood. She has published several papers such as “America’s homeless children: a review on recent studies”, “The Second generation of China’s one-child policy”, and “The evolution of youth culture in western countries”. She attended Rice University as a visiting scholar in 2011.
