Li Jun graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and holds a Ph.D. in sociology.His research fields cover social stratification and mobility, urban sociology, and labor sociology.He is particularly interested in the quantitative study of Chinese society in the post-reform era, mainly focusing on social stratification and labor market dynamics. Dr. Li has published a series of original research articles in well-known peer-reviewed Chinese and English journals, such as Social Sciences in China, Sociological Studies, Chinese Sociological Review and Chinese Journal of Sociology. He also received two research grants from the national and Shanghai municipal social science foundations and won a number of academic awards.
